Yes it was! Twelve showed up in hopes of showing their skills and walking away with the accolades of a winner, plus the cash. It was a closely fought competition with four three man teams. The format, 2BB of 3 was a challenge. It came down to the last hole where my team picked up two strokes to squeeze out a win.
That should help us to toughen up fro the Senior Interclub to be held at BCC on Friday. Not only do we have our turf to defend, but we have the chance to be leaders for the season (if not winners). Plus we really have a challenge on Sunday with the Mars vs Venus. The ladies are talking some smack and are really gearing up. If your wife hasn't signed you up call the pro shop. We still could use a few more hands.
Not much else to report. The weather and the course are great. We are in the dog days of summer and football is right around the corner. Before we know it Silly Season will be here.
