The 5th Annual JRSR Championship is in the history books. We have new champions this year. The LR Dr. was the low gross winner shooting 84, and Gilhooley was the net winner after posting 67. Both scores are pretty good considering how tough the course was playing. I heard there were a lot of short (and I mean really short) putts missed. Seven, eight, and even the occasional nine were popular scores. But, I think we all had fun. Even if we hit the wrong ball. Right Twinkle Toes? It was good to see our wounded warriors show up and participate. TTS had some prepared remarks, but didn't get to present them. Watch for them in one of the SD's emails.
Thanks to our professional staff and clubhouse staff for making the day perfect. That was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Now we can get back some regular golf. Be prepared for some exciting games in the coming weeks.
No SOTD winners. That is pretty unusual. Normally we have at least one winner on Championship Day. We're back over $150 in the pot.
See ya on the flip side.

PS - JJ Archie Bell and the Drells sang Tighten Up in 1968. I knew it was something like that, but couldn't quite put my finger on it. For the rest of you you had to be there to understand.
