That was the comment from the GWH as he looked at his putt on #13 yesterday. I admit I wouldn't want a 25 foot down hill curler either. The SD, his partner, wasn't much help and only added further confusion. So the GWH stepped up, closed his eyes and somehow rolled in a Hi Ho Silver to make birdie. That's all I need to say on how our day was going. Dr AH and I managed to keep our losses to a minimum but couldn't overcome dumb luck. Our weekly opponents now have false confidence and think they are on the road to winning their money back. We'll see!
Saturday was another beautiful day to play golf. Sunday looks to be more of the same. We have a good turnout for the Mars vs. Venus. It should be a heated competition. I know the Venus Team is pulling out all the stops and using every piece of gamesmanship they can think of. I'll post my comments early next week.
The Nurse and I had a pleasant dinning experience last evening at Element 112 in Sylvania. Very upscale, and something you see in a major metro area. The food was very good. We would suggest you order the Chef's nightly tasting. There is something for all palates. One caution - take cash. It is a little pricey for the area.
Got to go get my battle dress on,
